The Parish Council is notified of new planning applications through a weekly list and it is also placed in the Lynn News.  

Any planning decisions are made at a public meeting within 21 days of the planning being put out to consultees.  

The Parish Council is a Consultee, along with Highways, the Environmental agency,  and others depending on the complexity of the planning application.  

All residents are encouraged to attend the Parish Council planning meeting to register their comments prior to the council making its decision and forwarding it to the Borough Planning for consideration.

Neighbourhood Plan

Grimston Parish Council is in partnership with Congham and Roydon Parish Councils to prepare a Neighborhood Plan covering Grimston, Pott Row, Roydon and Congham.
